Description
Combination of cytotoxic drugs was suggested to decrease the rate of non-responders in severe ocular lesions of Behçet’s disease (BD) 1. Uncontrolled experience with combinations such as Cyclosporin and Azathioprine (AZA) 2 ‚or low dose pulse cyclophosphamide (LDP) and methotrexate3 showed their efficacy in these lesions. In this study we are going to find out if the combination of AZA and LDP is effective in severe ocular lesions of BD without increasing side effects.
