   A low level of feeling of security among women has a close relationship with social skills but this relation has been under researched. The main purpose of this research is to investigate relationship between problem-solving skill and feeling of security among women. Research method is survey. Population is women aged 18-39 in Ysouj that 351 cases were selected by means of multi-stage sampling method. Research instrument for measurement feeling of security is insecurity feeling questionnaire (IFQ) and the research instrument for problem solving is social problem solving inventory (SPSI). Based on the descriptive findings, the mean score of womenâ s feeling of security is at the average level. This research finding suggests that feeling of security is as well as an acute social problem among women. Based on the analytical results, there is a significant and positive relationship between social problem solving skill and a feeling of security, so that, social problem solving skills is able to explain about 0.21 of the variance of the feeling of security. In addition, none of the demographic variables of age, education level, employment status and marital status have any significant relation with the feeling of security. The conclusion of this study is that training social problem solving skill to women can alleviate feeling of security as one of the major concerns of women.
