Our work over the last two decades has brought us into contact with an interesting
assortment of individuals landscape architects, horticulturists, foresters, nature interpreters,
planners, resource managers, and many more. A common denominator across their diverse
fields has been an interest in the effect the natural environment has on people. These
individuals have had many questions for us. Three major issues have emerged as being of
particular interest. These are:
