rural US Interstate system is examined. The impacts are determined using a suite of models
developed for FHWA policy use, and both agency and user costs are estimated. Bridges on
the Interstate system that are already deficient at current loads are excluded from this
analysis, which utilizes the National Bridge Inventory database and reports results for the
