It is found that the pressure-composition isotherms for the absorption-desorption of hydrogen
in thin palladium films of thickness 300 nm do not deviate from those for bulk PdH c,
whereas the dissociation plateaux in the isotherms for palladium films of thickness 50 nm
are narrower than those for the bulk and the critical temperature is reduced by approximately
